Topcamp Hallingdal is a short walk outside the center of Ål, idyllic along the Hallingdal river - with some of the country's most beautiful mountain scenery and hiking terrain for hiking and cycling in close proximity.
Comfortable caravan and motorhome pitches of up to 140 sqm with electricity, TV, water and greywater connection (except water during the frost period). Spacious and gorgeous cabins with bathroom, kitchen, high ceilings, fireplace and heated floors, as well as panoramic windows facing the Hallingdal river. During the summer there are also glamping tents for rent.
Bergtatt Bistro is a nice lounge, bar and restaurant. Lunch, dinner and pizza are served here with local ingredients, made with love and you are also welcome to sit by the fireplace with something good to drink.
Topcamp Hallingdal has a wide range of activities for young and old, with a large indoor playground open all year round and an outdoor 12 meter high playground up the wall with giant slides. High & Low Climbing Park offers airy challenges including two 250 meter long zip lines over the Hallingdal river and "free fall" from a height of 12 meters. At Hallingdal 4H-farm, the children can get in close contact with rabbits, peacocks, goats, minipigs and alpacas (there are most animals during the summer period). Here is the Adventure Golf Course and Hallingdal Bicycle Park with jumps, pump tracks, dosages and other two-wheel challenges. Bathing place just beyond the holiday park and kayak, SUP and canoes for rent on Strandafjorden. Fishing opportunities straight from the cottage terrace, Hallingdalselva river contains lots of trouts. Hallingdal is a winter paradise, with more than 400 km of machine-prepared cross-country trails in a rich variety of forest and high mountain terrain, as well as Ål Ski Center only 10 minutes away for alpine skiing. Worlds most spectacular railway Flåmsbana , Rallarvegen mountain biking experience, fantastic fjords and viewpoints are well within a day trip.
